Ubisoft created monster hits in the dance game genre with Just Dance and more recently, Michael Jackson The Experience. With Just Dance 3 on its way later this year, Ubisoft is putting out a new dance game featuring The Black Eyed Peas. The Black Eyed Peas Experience will feature some of the group’s biggest hits and their choreography. It will also include digital recreations of the group’s members. If you thought Fergie was ugly before (I don’t) then wait until you see her in videogame form.

I will say that The Black Eyed Peas are a suitable follow up choice for what seems to be a new “The Experience” series of games. These guys make hit songs. I just hope they include “Just can’t get enough”, that’s my jam.

So far the trailer only points to a Wii version and an Xbox 360 version with Kinect. Check out the trailer below, and let me know what you think.

Game & Watch Gallery headed to Japanese eShop next week

Game & Watch Gallery headed to Japanese eShop next week:

On June 22, Japan’s 3DS eShop will get two new Virtual Console games: the crummy Game Boy version of Double Dragon (which Europe got this week and we’ll likely receive tomorrow), and Game & Watch Gallery, which has remade Game Boy versions of Fire, Manhole, Octopus, and Oil Panic, along with more “authentic” style recreations.

Technically, three of these games are already available on 3DS: Oil Panic is on the Club Nintendo-only Game & Watch Collection, Octopus is on Game & Watch Collection 2, and Manhole is available as a DSiWare download. But none of them are the Game Boy version — or the Game Boy version of the Game & Watch version. I love seeing different versions of the same game on Virtual Console.

Nintendo President confused by Investor reactions during E3

June 11, 2011 :: Posted by - admin :: Category - Latest Game

Nintendo focused this year’s E3 on two things: 3DS and the announcement of Wii U. The Wii U won’t go on sale until next year and because of that specifics on the new console/controller were not announced.

Perhaps this lead to the consumer confusion about the announcement because Nintendo shares fell almost 10 percent in two days after the press conference.

“Honestly speaking, the reaction to (Tuesday’s) presentation and what I heard from people I met and the mood of the convention did not chime at all with what happened in the stock market,” Iwata said in an interview at the E3 games show in Los Angeles on Wednesday. “It’s very strange.”

Iwata was quick to point out that people also doubted the Wii in 2006. The concept for the Wii U is to bring new gaming experiences to both casual and the more dedicated hard core gamers.

“In the end, it is easy to get the mistaken impression that this is just a game console with a tablet,” he said. “People who came to the presentation and tried it out have understood very well that it opens up a lot of new possibilities. But people who have not tried it will find it hard to believe that this controller will change things.”
